Ivor Madom Sree Krishna Temple

Ivor Madom Sree Krishna Temple, widely called Ivar Madom or the Ivar Madom Parthasarathy Temple, is located at Pampady near Thiruvilwamala in Thrissur district, Kerala. The temple stands close to the Bharathapuzha and worships Krishna in the Parthasarathy form. Its most distinctive cultural role is connected with ancestral and post-funeral rites performed at the riverside, drawing families from different parts of Kerala and neighbouring regions.

Local tradition links the name Ivar Madom with the five Pandavas, adding a Mahabharata association to the site’s ritual identity.
