The landscape combines narrow roads and bridges with paddy fields, coconut groves, fishing channels and open backwater views.
Early mornings and evenings are especially atmospheric, when fishermen work on the water and birds move across the wetlands. Kadamakudy has become popular with photographers, cyclists, birdwatchers and travellers who want to experience village life without going far from central Kochi.
