Arakkal Kettu Museum

Arakkal Kettu Museum is located at Ayikkara in Kannur and occupies part of the former palace complex of the Arakkal Ali Rajas, remembered as Kerala’s only Muslim royal family. The site provides an important counterpoint to Kannur’s European forts by presenting a local royal history deeply connected with the Arabian Sea, maritime trade and the political life of Malabar.
