Alappuzha Beach

Alappuzha Beach lies along the Arabian Sea in Alappuzha town and is one of the district's most accessible coastal attractions. The broad seafront is closely associated with the history of old Alleppey as a port and trading centre. One of its most recognisable features is the remains of the old sea pier, a reminder of the period when goods were moved between ships and the shore.

The Alappuzha Lighthouse, another important local landmark, stands nearby and adds to the heritage character of the area.
