Chembirika Beach is situated in Chemnad Grama Panchayat, a short drive south of Kasaragod town. Keralam Tourism highlights the beach for its golden sand, coconut-lined coast and the meeting of the Noombil River, also called the Chembirika River, with the Arabian Sea. Small rock clusters and the river mouth add visual variety to a shoreline that is generally quieter than Keralam’s major resort beaches.
The destination is well suited to visitors looking for simple coastal scenery, photography and an unhurried evening beside the sea. Chembirika village also carries a piece of transport history through the old Kalanad railway tunnel in the wider area, although the beach itself remains primarily a nature attraction.
