Thirumullavaram Beach

Thirumullavaram Beach lies a short distance north of central Kollam and is one of the district’s most accessible quieter beaches. DTPC Kollam places it about six kilometres from the city, making it easy to combine with Thangassery and other Kollam coastal attractions. The shoreline is valued for open Arabian Sea views and a generally relaxed atmosphere, while Njayarazhcha Para, also known as Sunday Rock, is a distinctive offshore feature that becomes more noticeable around low tide.

The nearby Maha Vishnu temple and the observance of Vavu Bali give the area an important cultural dimension in addition to its recreational appeal. Visitors commonly come for sea views, photography, family outings and evening walks.
