Erumeli Sree Dharma Sastha Temple is one of the principal pilgrimage landmarks of Erumeli in Kanjirappally taluk, Kottayam district. Dedicated to Lord Ayyappa, the temple is deeply connected with the traditional Sabarimala pilgrimage and becomes exceptionally busy during the Mandala–Makaravilakku season. Keralam Tourism highlights Erumeli’s Valiyambalam and Kochambalam traditions and the celebrated Petta Thullal, a vigorous ritual procession performed by pilgrims before continuing toward Sabarimala.
