Niranam St. Mary’s Orthodox Church is located at Niranam near Thiruvalla in Pathanamthitta district, Keralam. Popularly known as Niranam Valiya Pally, it is traditionally associated with St.
Thomas the Apostle and is counted among the Ezhara Pallikal, the seven-and-a-half early Christian churches of Keralam. The site has undergone rebuilding and renovation over many centuries, so its importance lies in the continuity of the Christian community and the traditions preserved there rather than in a single surviving ancient structure.
