Brahmagiri Hills is a notable trekking destination at Thirunelli in the Mananthavady region of Wayanad district, Keralam, close to the Karnataka border. DTPC Wayanad describes the summit area as roughly 1,608 metres high and the trek as a moderately challenging journey of around 10 km beginning from the Forest Department camp at Thirunelli. The route passes through forest, wildlife habitat, streams and small waterfalls, with changing views across the Brahmagiri landscape.
The hill attracts trekkers, photographers, birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts, while the nearby Thirunelli Mahavishnu Temple adds cultural and pilgrimage interest to the area. Keralam Tourism also identifies Brahmagiri as an important trekking point in Wayanad.
