Aamappara

Aamappara is an adventure-oriented tourism centre in the high ranges of Idukki district, close to the Ramakkalmedu region of Keralam. The destination is shaped by exposed rock formations, rugged hill terrain and broad views across the Western Ghats landscape. DTPC Idukki identifies Aamappara as an adventure tourism centre and notes that visitors normally require a jeep to reach the site because of the nature of the approach road.

The attraction is less about conventional sightseeing facilities and more about experiencing the terrain itself.
