Adimalathura Beach

Adimalathura Beach lies on the southern coast of Thiruvananthapuram district, close to Chowara and south of the better-known Kovalam beach circuit. Keralam Tourism describes Adimalathura as a traditional fishing hamlet with a peaceful, relatively untouched coastal character. Visitors come here for the broad sea views, coconut-fringed surroundings, village scenery and a slower atmosphere than the main tourist beaches.

The beach is particularly attractive for an unhurried walk, coastal photography and watching the changing light over the Arabian Sea. Its location also makes it easy to combine with nearby Chowara, Kovalam and other southern Thiruvananthapuram attractions. Adimalathura is best appreciated as a living coastal village rather than a heavily developed resort, so visitors should respect local fishing activity, homes and community spaces while exploring the shore.
