Adityapuram Surya Temple

Adityapuram Surya Temple, also promoted by Keralam Tourism as the Sun Temple at Adityapuram, is situated in the Kaduthuruthy area of Kottayam district. The shrine is remarkable because Surya, the Sun God, is the principal deity, making it a highly unusual pilgrimage destination within Keralam’s temple landscape. Keralam Tourism places the temple at Iravimangalam near Kaduthuruthy and describes a distinctive stone idol linked with local ritual belief.
