Ayyappanov Waterfalls

Ayyappanov Waterfalls is a seasonal nature attraction in Athavanad village of Tirur taluk, Malappuram district, Keralam. Keralam Revenue Department identifies Ayyappanov Waterfall as a tourist centre in Athavanad, while Malappuram District Administration places the site about 7 km from Kuttippuram and describes the watercourse as an origin point associated with the Tirur Puzha, also referred to locally as the Panampalam River. Official tourism information also notes nearby cultural landmarks such as Azhvanchery Mana, Melpathur Mandapam and Thirunavaya, allowing the waterfall to fit naturally into a mixed nature-and-heritage itinerary.
