Blangad Beach

Blangad Beach is an Arabian Sea beach in the Blangad area of Chavakkad municipality, on the western side of Thrissur district, Kerala. Kerala State Election Commission records identify Blangad Beach as a named ward/locality, supporting its place in the Chavakkad coastal landscape. The attraction is best understood as a simple local shoreline rather than a large commercial beach resort.

Visitors come for open sea views, evening light, coastal breezes and relaxed walks along the sand, while the surrounding neighbourhood reflects the everyday fishing and residential character of Kerala’s central coast. Blangad is also well placed for travellers moving between Chavakkad, Guruvayur and the Chettuva–Engandiyur belt.
