Chamravattom Sastha Temple

Chamravattom Sastha Temple is a traditional Sastha shrine in the Chamravattom area of Triprangode, Malappuram district. Malappuram District’s tourism authority records a long-standing belief that the temple was built by the legendary master craftsman Perunthachan and notes an unusual feature: the idol is positioned at the level of the river, below the main sanctum level. The temple has also been known as a stopping place for pilgrims travelling towards Sabarimala.
