Changampalli Kalari

Changampalli Kalari is one of the protected monuments associated with Mamankam in the Thirunavaya region of Malappuram district, Keralam. The Malappuram District Administration places the site on the Thazhathara–Kuttippuram Road and identifies it as a place where soldiers were trained for war. The Keralam Revenue Department similarly describes Changampally Kalari as a training ground for warriors and notes that injured fighters were treated there.

In the context of Mamankam, the kalari represents the martial preparation behind the conflicts that became associated with control of the festival.
