Edassery Square

Edassery Square is a literary memorial located within Nilayoram Park at Kuttippuram in Malappuram district, Keralam. Malappuram District Administration states that the square was built in memory of Malayalam poet Edassery Govindan Nair, author of the celebrated Poothappattu, and places it on the bank of the Bharathapuzha. Keralam Revenue Department confirms that Kuttippuram is in Tirur taluk, uses PIN 679571 and identifies Nilayoram Park and the Bharathapuzha surroundings as important local tourism attractions.
