Kaippuzhamuttu Village Backwaters

Kaippuzhamuttu lies a short distance from Kavanattinkara and Kumarakom and offers a close-up view of the working backwater countryside of Kottayam district. This makes the destination especially suitable for travellers who want to look beyond resort-style backwater tourism and understand how people live and work around Keralam’s waterways. The landscape is low-lying, green and closely tied to canals, fields and Vembanad’s wider wetland environment.
