Keralam Legislature Complex

Keralam Legislature Complex is located in the Vikas Bhavan–Palayam area of Thiruvananthapuram and houses the Keralam Legislative Assembly, commonly known as the Niyamasabha. The large complex represents the institutional heart of the state’s elected legislature and is notable for combining modern governmental architecture with visual references to Keralam’s traditional building forms. Its assembly building, formal approaches and landscaped setting give the area a ceremonial character distinct from the older Secretariat.

For visitors interested in governance, architecture and contemporary Keralam history, the complex adds an important civic dimension to a Thiruvananthapuram itinerary. The site is a functioning high-security government campus, however, and should not be approached like an unrestricted tourist monument. Public entry, guided access, museum visits or attendance at proceedings may be governed by identification, permissions, session schedules and security controls.

The exterior and surrounding government district can still be viewed as part of a city tour, with current visitor procedures checked through official legislature channels.
