Korome Mosque is a historic place of worship in the Korome area of Mananthavady taluk, Wayanad district, Keralam. DTPC Wayanad and Keralam Tourism describe the mosque as roughly 300 years old and notable for being constructed mainly in wood in the traditional Keralam architectural style. Extensive wood carving is one of its defining visual features.
The mosque also preserves a handwritten copy of sayings attributed to the Prophet, adding to its religious and historical importance. Local traditions concerning the mosque’s foundation emphasise cooperation across communities, and the site is frequently presented as an example of Wayanad’s shared cultural heritage. The annual Uroos festival attracts visitors and worshippers from different communities.
