Kundamkuzhi Fort, also written Kundamkuzhy Fort, is an inland fort in the Bedadukka area of Kasaragod district. Keralam Tourism dates the site to the Bednore Nayaka period and describes it as a square laterite fort built in a valley of laterite hillocks. Its position was connected with trade routes between coastal settlements and the Mysore plateau.
Surviving features include portions of the fort walls, bastions of different shapes, traces of a moat, a wall-walk and a stepped well near the western entrance. The Kundamkuzhi Shiva Temple lies within the fort enclosure, adding a religious feature to the historic landscape. Although parts of the structure have undergone restoration, the site retains the atmosphere of a ruin and rewards visitors who look closely at defensive details.
