Mallam Sree Durga Parameshwari Temple is located in the Muliyar area of Kasaragod district on the banks of the Madhuvahini River. Keralam Tourism’s festival documentation describes the shrine as more than 400 years old and dedicated to Goddess Durga, worshipped in a form connected with the Sree Chakra tradition. Daily annadanam, or food offering, is an important service, while Tuesdays and Fridays are regarded as especially significant days for worship.
The annual Varshika Mahotsavam, usually observed in the February-March period, brings larger numbers of devotees and ceremonial activity to the temple. Keralam Revenue Department records also list Mallam Temple among the tourist places of Muliyar village. The area falls in Kasaragod taluk and uses PIN 671542.
