Mannera Waterfall

Mannera Waterfall is an offbeat forest waterfall in the Konni region of Pathanamthitta district, Keralam, roughly a few kilometres from the better-known Adavi Eco Tourism area. DTPC Pathanamthitta describes the approach as narrow, with visitors needing to walk part of the way, which helps preserve the site’s quieter and less-developed character. At the waterfall, clear water tumbles over steep rock surfaces while flatter sections along the banks create attractive viewpoints for a short nature break.

The surrounding forest landscape connects Mannera with the wider Konni–Adavi eco-tourism circuit, making it suitable for travellers already exploring Kallar riverside scenery, forest roads and nearby nature attractions. Because access and water conditions can change with rain, visitors should avoid slippery rock edges and strong currents, particularly during the monsoon. Mannera is best appreciated as a low-key natural attraction rather than a heavily managed tourist facility, so carrying drinking water and taking all waste back is advisable.
