Olly Waterfalls

Olly Waterfalls, also referred to in Kerala government records as Oli Waterfalls, is a nature attraction in the Mampad–Pullippadam area of Nilambur taluk, Malappuram district. Malappuram District Administration describes the waterfall as being surrounded by forest and gives approximate distances of 15 km from Edavanna and 25 km from Nilambur. Kerala Revenue Department independently lists Oli Waterfalls among the important tourist attractions of Mampad and confirms the local postal area under PIN 676542.

The appeal of the site is its forest setting and seasonal flow, which become particularly striking during Kerala’s rainy months. Visitors should expect a relatively natural environment rather than a major commercial tourism facility. Rocks around waterfalls can be extremely slippery, water depth and current may change without warning, and access conditions can deteriorate during heavy rain.

Travellers should follow local safety advice and avoid entering fast-moving water or crossing flooded approaches.
