Sarada Mandiram

Sarada Mandiram is a literary heritage memorial in Mavelikkara, Alappuzha district, connected with A. R. Rajaraja Varma Valiya Koyithampuran.

Known as 'Kerala Panini', Rajaraja Varma was a major scholar, poet and grammarian whose work had a lasting influence on Malayalam language and literary studies. The building was constructed as his residence and was later acquired by the State Government and preserved as his memorial. Unlike a large museum complex, Sarada Mandiram is significant because it links an important figure in Kerala's intellectual history with the physical place where he lived.
