About Thonikadavu Eco-Tourism Centre
Thonikadavu is a nature-oriented destination near Kundamkuzhi in inland Kasaragod district. Keralam Tourism describes the area as a large private plantation landscape close to forest, with coconut and arecanut cultivation, streams, rock formations and rich bird and wildlife biodiversity. Trekking has traditionally been one of the main attractions, with routes passing through green terrain toward the Payaswini River and connecting with the wider Bekal-Thalakaveri trekking concept.
The destination is valued less for a single monument than for the sequence of plantation paths, water views, small natural features and forest-edge scenery encountered on foot. Kundamkuzhi is in Kasaragod taluk, and the wider Chengala/Kundamkuzhi postal area supports PIN 671541. Because access conditions, private-land permissions and trekking arrangements may change, visitors should confirm current local entry and guidance before travelling.
Proper footwear, drinking water and caution during the monsoon are advisable.
