Thumpoly Beach brings together the sea and a lived-in coastal neighbourhood on the Alappuzha side of Kerala’s Arabian Sea shoreline. Thumpoly is a recognised Alappuzha postal locality, and the beach is best visited for its natural views and fishing-community character rather than for formal attractions. Depending on the time of day, visitors may see boats, nets and other signs of local marine livelihoods alongside the open coast.
