Trikandiyur Shiva Temple

Trikandiyur Shiva Temple, also known as Trikandiyur Mahadeva Temple, is one of the important historic shrines near Tirur in Malappuram district. Keralam Tourism identifies the temple with the traditional group of 108 Sivalayams and records the local belief that Parasurama consecrated the Shiva linga. The temple has accumulated a long history of patronage, reconstruction and community worship, giving the site both religious and heritage importance.

One of its notable physical features is the large temple pond, which forms an integral part of the sacred landscape.
