Velliyamkallu is a small rocky island in the Arabian Sea off Payyoli in Kozhikode district, Kerala. Kerala Tourism describes it as roughly two acres in extent and about 14 kilometres from Payyoli, with a rugged surface marked by natural cavities, wells and unusual rock formations. The island is also known as Balikkallu in some accounts.

Its importance is strongly tied to Malabar's maritime history. Velliyamkallu is associated with Kunjali Marakkar and the naval resistance of the Zamorin of Kozhikode against Portuguese forces, giving the isolated rocks a significance beyond their scenic appearance.
