Pazhoor Perumthrikkovil

Pazhoor Perumthrikkovil is a historic Shiva temple in the Piravom area of Ernakulam district, standing close to the Muvattupuzha River. Kerala heritage and archaeology records describe the temple as a major circular shrine dating to around the twelfth century, with a granite base, traditional timber construction, a conical roof and notable wood carvings and mural work. Its architectural significance led to its protection by the Kerala State Department of Archaeology.
