Pakshipathalam

Pakshipathalam is a demanding trekking and nature destination in the Brahmagiri Hills near Thirunelli, in the northern part of Wayanad district, Kerala. Kerala Tourism places it about 7 km from Thirunelli and describes a landscape of large boulders, deep rock caves, evergreen forest and rich birdlife. The high-altitude setting attracts trekkers, ornithologists and visitors interested in Wayanad's forest ecosystems rather than conventional sightseeing.
