Keezhthali Mahadeva Temple

Keezhthali Mahadeva Temple is a Shiva temple in Kodungallur, Thrissur district, Keralam, with strong links to the early political and religious history of the ancient Muziris region. Keralam Tourism’s Muziris Heritage material explains that Kodungallur once had a network of Thalis—Brahmin-centred institutions connected with the administration of the Perumal period—and names Keezhthali among the five that survive into the present.
