Vayalapra Floating Park

Vayalapra Floating Park is a backwater recreation destination in Kannur district, Kerala, accessible from the Payyannur and Pazhayangadi sides. Kerala Tourism also refers to the attraction as Vayalapra Parappa Tourism Park, while DTPC Kannur describes the floating park and walkway along the Chemballikundu-Vayalapra Parappu water landscape. Mangroves, calm backwaters and distant views towards the Ezhimala hills form the natural setting.

The park is designed for families and casual day visitors, with seating along the walkway, swings, a children's area, food options and water-based activities. Pedal boating and kayaking are among the experiences associated with the park, allowing visitors to see the wetland environment from a different perspective. The destination is particularly attractive in the late afternoon when the breeze and sunset change the mood of the water.
