Banasura Sagar Dam

Banasura Sagar Dam is a prominent tourism landmark at Padinjarathara in Vythiri taluk, Wayanad, surrounded by the dramatic slopes of the Banasura Hills. The large earthen dam and reservoir are widely recognised among Keralam's notable dam landscapes, and the setting is especially attractive because the water is framed by green hills, plantation country and changing monsoon scenery.
