8 Point Art Cafe

8 Point Art Cafe is a small cultural attraction within the Ashramam Picnic Village area of Kollam, Keralam. DTPC Kollam and Keralam Tourism present it as an art gallery, café and creative gathering space housed in a restored heritage building associated with the Paramparya complex. The concept links the “8 Point” name with the eight branches or creeks of Ashtamudi and with a celebration of multiple art forms.

Visitors may encounter exhibitions, cultural events and a compact free library in addition to the café setting, giving the venue a quieter, more intimate character than a conventional museum. The space has also been associated with mural artist and art director Shenley, whose creative involvement helped shape its identity. Because it sits inside the wider Ashramam recreation zone, the café can be combined easily with the Paramparya Museum, waterfront walks and other family attractions nearby.
