Conolly's Plot is a historic teak plantation near Nilambur town in Malappuram district and one of the most important sites connected with organised forestry in Keralam. The plantation dates to 1846 and was developed under the direction of H. V.
Conolly, then Collector of Malabar, with pioneering work by Chathu Menon. Keralam Tourism identifies it as the world's oldest teak plantation and describes the site as a living record of the beginnings of systematic teak cultivation in the region. The surviving protected area lies in a lush setting associated with the Chaliyar and Kurinjipuzha rivers, giving the heritage plantation a strong natural character in addition to its historical value.
