Thangassery Lighthouse

Thangassery Lighthouse stands in Thangassery, a historic coastal neighbourhood of Kollam city in Kerala. Built in 1902, the red-and-white lighthouse rises about 135 feet and remains one of the most recognisable landmarks on this stretch of the Arabian Sea coast. The elevated viewing level provides a sweeping perspective over the sea, breakwater, beach and surrounding urban shoreline.
