Canoli Canal

Canoli Canal is part of the historic inland-navigation landscape of Ponnani in Malappuram district, Keralam. The Directorate General of Lighthouses and Lightships records that British-era improvements to Ponnani’s port included construction of a canal connecting Ponnani with Cochin through the Cranganore backwaters.
