Kollengode House

Kollengode House is an important palace-turned-museum in Chembukkavu, Thrissur, offering visitors a combination of architecture, archaeology, folklore and local history. Kerala Tourism records that the house was built in 1904 by Vasudeva Raja of the Kollengode dynasty for his daughter. Today the building functions as the District Heritage Museum and is itself one of the principal exhibits because its design combines Kerala architectural traditions with Western influences.
