Oachira Parabrahma Temple is a major pilgrimage centre at Oachira in Karunagappally taluk, Kollam district, Kerala. Its defining feature is the absence of a conventional idol and enclosed sanctum; worship is directed towards Parabrahma, understood as the universal or supreme consciousness. DTPC Kollam describes the sacred complex as extending over a large open area, creating a spatial experience very different from Kerala's usual temple courtyards and shrine architecture.
