Kumbhavurutty and Manalar Waterfalls

Kumbhavurutty and Manalar Waterfalls form a popular waterfall experience in the Achankovil forest region of Kollam district, Keralam, close to the Western Ghats. Manalar is described by DTPC Kollam as a seasonal, comparatively slow-moving waterfall, while the Achankovil falls in this landscape descend from a notable height. Kumbhavurutty Waterfalls lies roughly two kilometres away, allowing visitors to experience more than one cascade within the same forest belt.
