Thiruvananthapuram Zoological Park

Thiruvananthapuram Zoological Park occupies a substantial green area within the city’s museum and zoo precinct at Museum Junction. Established in the 19th century as an adjunct to the museum, it has evolved from an exhibition-oriented menagerie into a modern zoological institution with greater emphasis on conservation, education and species-appropriate enclosures.
