KCS Panicker Art Gallery

KCS Panicker Art Gallery forms part of the Department of Museums and Zoos complex at Museum Junction, Thiruvananthapuram. Established in memory of artist K. C.

S. Paniker, the gallery presents a substantial selection of his work, including paintings and bronze pieces spanning roughly four decades of artistic practice. Paniker played a major role in shaping modern Indian art and was associated with progressive artistic movements in Madras; his later Words and Symbols works are especially noted for their distinctive visual language.

The gallery gives art lovers an opportunity to follow the progression of his style rather than seeing a single isolated work.
