Dharmadam Beach

Dharmadam Beach is a scenic coastal destination near Thalassery in Kannur district, Kerala, best known for its view of Dharmadam Island, a small green island just off the shore. DTPC Kannur describes the island as being surrounded by the Anjarakandy and Thalassery rivers and the Arabian Sea, creating an unusual river-and-sea setting along the North Kerala coast. Coconut trees and other coastal vegetation give the island its familiar green appearance, which is why it is also associated with the name Green Island.
