Peralassery Subramanya Temple

Peralassery Subramanya Temple is an important Hindu pilgrimage destination at Peralassery in Kannur district, Kerala, around 14 km from Kannur town. The principal deity is Lord Subramanya, and Kerala Tourism records a traditional Ramayana association in which Lord Rama is believed to have consecrated the Subramanya idol during his journey in search of Sita. The temple complex is especially memorable for its rectangular pond, designed with numerous symmetrical steps descending towards the water from all sides.
