Koodalmanikyam Temple

Koodalmanikyam Temple is one of Irinjalakuda’s most important landmarks in Thrissur district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Lord Bharatha, brother of Lord Rama, and is widely celebrated for this unusual focus within Hindu worship. It forms part of Kerala’s Nalambalam pilgrimage circuit, in which devotees visit four temples associated with Rama, Bharatha, Lakshmana and Shathrughna, especially during the Malayalam month of Karkidakam.
