Muzhappilangad Drive-in Beach

Muzhappilangad Drive-in Beach is one of Kannur district’s most distinctive coastal attractions, located near Thalassery on Kerala’s Malabar coast. Its signature experience is the firm sandy shoreline that allows visitors to drive along a substantial stretch of beach, a feature that sets Muzhappilangad apart from most other beaches in Kerala. Offshore black-rock formations help soften strong sea currents in parts of the beach, while the broad shore is also popular for walking, sunset watching and photography.
